Game Retrospectives

This was originally a page just for my retrospective on the King of Fighters franchise, but since this might become a trend, it is now a page for any game retrospective series I might do in the future.  Keep in mind that these articles are long and have a lot of images and videos, so if you're loading something, it might take a bit.

Here are the links for my look over SNK's flagship fighting series, The King of Fighters.  The post for each game's finale and plot summary are linked to in the main posts for each game.


Addendum: In these articles I briefly discuss ways in which to play each game, some of which were very limited at the time of their writing.  Since then, the Wii Virtual Console has shut down and the games have seen wider distribution elsewhere.  Please refer to The Wonderful World of King of Fighters Ports for more modern ways to purchase and play them.
 
The following is my retrospective on Capcom's flagship Sengoku Basara franchise and Capcom's decline into the evil entity we know and loathe today.  Despite the highest number on the titles being 4, this series is 8 parts thanks to an alternate version of one game, expansion packs and other media associated with the franchise.
